For over thirty years, we’ve been giving stories a form you can see, hear, and feel. In film, sound, and everything in between, we look for images that stick — not slick or predictable, but honest and impactful.
We always start at the core. With what needs to be told, even before the form is set. By observing, listening, and slowing down, space is created for meaning — and for images that do more than just illustrate.

Making films — especially short documentaries and portraits — is deeply anchored in our genes. It’s where we come from, and where we return to time and again.
But at Grapefruit Moon, it doesn’t stop there. We move freely between forms and techniques. Animation, stop-motion, slow-motion — anything that moves sparks our curiosity. It is precisely in that movement that we find energy, constantly searching for ways to shape a story clearly, uniquely, and with care.

Producing — or contributing to — (online) exhibitions for museums and artists has become our core focus in recent years. These are projects that keep challenging us: deep, layered, and always in dialogue with the work and the creator.
Under the name Stories, we work on projects where short documentaries play a central role. Compact films that make room for an important story, told with precision and feeling.
And last but not least, we share what we’ve built up over the years. In our studio in the Vosges, France, we host workshops, courses, and masterclasses — a place for depth, exchange, and the further development of your own visual language.
