The ‘Sand’ exhibition shows the work of sand artist Sylvia Wybenga. Model drawings in sand are displayed on screens in the museum in a special way. Son Tijn composed a piece in which Sylvia visualizes the story in sand.

The recordings of the model drawings were in Sylvia’s studio. Thanks to a special construction, we were able to film from above and isolate the sand from the surroundings, as it were, while all actions are clearly visible. The music was registered at the conservatory in Amsterdam.
